| Just wondering how many of you are running a clutch kit? What other mods have you done to your motor when you upgraded your clutch ? My 12 S is still stock and want to add a clutch and maybe different exhaust . You guys have any suggestions ? THANKS Brian... | |

| Dirty Dawg Performance makes a great clutch, which is fullu adjustable, and Dale will talk ya through any changes ya might want to make. Mods. A bunch!!! Cam, bigger valves in the heads, drilled, welded, and pinned crank, fuel controller, dual exhaust, custom made air intake, snorkels, etc. etc etc. Some of it is so top secert that I just can't talk about it!! lol | |

| A team 03 roller secondary is a great addition. As the spring and helix can be changed out. Where as the 10 to 13 RZR 800s use a helix that is machined to the secondary sheave, which gives you very limited modifications as far as clutch kits go. The 08 and early 09 RZRs and 09 RZR 800 S use the Team 03 secondary. It offers better engine braking and far more flexibility. Polaris went to the current style secondary because its $$$ cheaper. Just my opinion, if you are using stock size tires or pretty close to stock size tires...I would leave it alone. If your gonna get a kit I would get the adjustable clutch kits, where you can adjust the fly weights by adding or removing set screws that control the fly weight mass and location. You are basically tunning the clutches yourself, which requires a little patience and a little creativity. | |

| My experience with only a few/no mod.s was a clutch kit (DDP)gave the biggest bang for the buck. No need for adjustability unless you plan significant changes later.
I have the DDP springs, helix and adjustment kit if you'd like to give it a go. It needs replacement, bare DDP flyweights. Went with Dalton for my latest mod.s.

| i have the dirty dawg clutch, but its not in my XP yet. will be soon. future mods are the alba stage 2 cams and pc5 tuner. that really dont help ya since your talking about a 800. but deff a clutch would be your best bang for the buck. before you spend the amount of momey it takes to make any real power increase from the 800 you would be better of just trading it for a 900. | |

| Clutch kit and re-mapped ECM are the 2 biggest bangs for the buck on the 800 | |

Some gals came in and cleaned my house while I was in then hospital, and now a lot of my stuff seems to disapeared. It would seem that space people swooped down , got into my fridge and took my new batch of apple pie, jars and all!! Durnest thing I've ever seen!! Or maybe those 2 gals are liars!! Thats the way I'm lookin at it. m LOL

When i ordered my slp pipe and few others for my xp i called him about a power commander.(slp didnt have any in stock but gave me their fuel map to install on one) i called talked to hunterworks emailed him themaps... 20 min. Later he called me back and told me i was wasting my money on the p.c. and explained himself to me and saved me a 300 dollar purchase

| I alsomhave teh Looney Tunes dual exhaust. A fwllow at one of the rides told me that he would come out of his camper/cabin every time I started the Joker just so he could listen to it drive by! He said that it reminded him of a camed up small block chevy at the drag strip. I think they sound great. I some times slip in the quit cores. It is just like haveing a whole new exhaust system for free!!! | |
