| I got tired of having to undo the harness from the harness bar every time I wanted to remove the seats so I ordered G-Force 3" Quick Release Clips and attached them to the harness. I found eye bolts at Lowes that were rated at 1200 lb. and ran them through the harness bar. Cut the bolts off, ground down the rest of the bolt and attached the harness. Much easier to get the seats in and out. Here is a picture of the harness hanging from the clips before I put the seat back in. |

| I did the same thing, I got mine from PRP, clip and eyebolt come as a set, $5 each and was free shipping. in about 1 min. I can have both harnesses out so they can be hung up to dry. | |

| I had ordered a set that was $7 each from ASTs that included the bolt but they forgot about me so I got just the clip by itself for $5 and the bolts from Lowe's. I was concerned that the bolts from the ones I had originally ordered were not going to be long enough to go through the harness bar. I love being able to quickly remove the harnesses to adjust them or just get the seats out for cleaning! |

| Just keep in mind that most eye bolts are rated for force parallel to the threads, and you've installed them with the force perpendicular to the threads. Let's assume you get full strength from those bolts, and you weigh 200 lbs. Anything over 12 mph when you come to a sudden stop (hit a tree straight on) and they'll fail. I know, I know.. crumple zones, straps stretching, body absorbing some impact and the fact that there is surely a safety factor on those bolts. I just wanted to throw it out there though.
That being said... I still want to do something similar, I just haven't figured out what or when. | |

| Thanks for the info. After reading that I tried to determine what the rating was on the bolts that are sold for this purpose that there is not much info out there for this application. I did manage to find some eyebolts with a 1 7/8 shaft that are designed for the quick release harness clip and will go through my harness bar so for $25 I think I will be changing them out. The way we generally ride, a harness is overkill but if it's installed I might as well do it the right way. |

| I need some help on this guys. The jagged has prp seats. If I mount the lap belts from my harnesses, there won't be any way to get the seats out. What can I do to solve that? So far I have come up with nothing |
