| Finished installing the kit and uploaded some pictures that I took along the way. I want to say thanks also to Bobby for his help, information and pictures that he posted earlier. I originally ordered the kit from BoatFix.com, but it was out of stock, then no one knew how long it would be... and on & on & on it went... So, I finally ordered another kit from Keenzo.com.... you guessed it - samething. I had read a BoatKeepers Magazine article about the Poly Planar kit online and decided to give Terry the owner at Audio Allies a call and see if he could actually get me one of the kits that Poly Planer advertises as having black speakers. Very Nice Guy to talk to and deal with. Poly-Planar MP3-KIT-B MP3 Input/Speaker/Amp Kit - Black Speakers Ordered the kit from him and it arrived in a couple days from NC. So here's some pictures that I took while putting it all together. | |

True Value Store had the Plano 20" Grab'n Go HD Tool Boxes... Model 652 also, the Deep Model 651 is available in Dark Gray, but with buying the yellow one I got two small clear utility boxes to keep & use since I was just cutting the toolbox up. FYI: Cut approx. 3 inches off the bottom. http://www.planomolding.com/hardware/products.asp

| Question.....On wackers install......Why couldnt you install a cig lighter plug in on the side of the box. Just tap into that power wire and mount the plug into the box and there you go. No power wire to run down the front. Everything up top.
Couldnt you do that? |

| Tbone, I'm not sure what you are saying. But my power and ground wires are run down the back of the cage in black wire loom, and go straight to the battery. I like it beter than running it down the front of the cage because it's not an eye sore while you are riding. Your goat may not chew it in two if you run it down the back. | |

| Yamabeast, where did you get your loom at? I used to see it at autoparts stores but have not seen any lately. | |

Home Depot. I can't remember how many feet was in the pack, but it was way more than enough to reach from the front of the roof and down the back of the cage all the way to the battery.

| Well I got mine built tonight and tested it with a battery. Did great. Got it mounted up and went to turn it on and no sound. I got frustrated and took it off and went back to the bench. Hooked it up to a battery and it plays but u can barely hear the music now at full volume. Any ideas what the heck is going on? I don't see how the amp could be blown with a fuse and also with all my precise wiring. I need help!!! |

| Is the Volume down on you MP3/Ipod . As for your power Tbone , run you a hot and Ground up then switch from there . This will allow you to power several things not just your Radio/Ipod . If you get lights , 2 way radio , Automatic goat treat dispensor , Disco light , and a power source so you can hook up a fan . With power up there you just tap to it and just one set of wire going up and switch as needed . | |

| It was playing loud and great...when we went to install it did not work and hasn't since. You can hear a little bit of music at full volume but that's it. The problem is def in the amp. I have tested everything from there |

Make sure your connections are ok, and your mp3 player is turned up all the way.
