| Thank the Lord! I just installed them. I didnt know that they rattled though! Is that normal? |

| well they ratle a little at a low RPM...Once you go on they are quiet. I know they are tight........Trust me.....They are on tight! |

| I've always heard that the aluminum ones are noisy. Ride it some and double check to make sure they don't vibrate loose. You won't have to worry about the bottom of it anymore. What brand are they? | |

| To stop the rattle you will either have to flatten out the PoPo washers or simply put rubber washers in between. |

| Did you guys use lock tight? It reccomended to use it butvi didn't have it. Is it necessary? |

May not be a bad idea if you don't have to remove the skids for service. I would use the medium locktite, not the permanant because you may have to take em off for some reason later on. | |

| Well I may pull the bolts back out one weekend and do that then. Heck I figured just tightening them down would be good enough |

I'm sure you've got them tight, its like PWM said its the concave washers where they are recessed might be thicker than your skid ??? They may be bottoming out on the frame before the lip catches on the plate. |

| Randy was right......after only going a half a mile down the mud trail, it got quiet. Never made a sound anymore. I guess a little mud in there took care of it! |
