Naw, T-bone knows that isn't true. We were both spanking a Commander at Busco on the drag strip.....and we had both had passengers and he was by himself. Not really a contest, sorry to say. I have seen it go both ways, but I would hope that you could, with 2 more hp, 500 pounds lighter. I'd park my race car if a pick up truck could keep up.

XP is basically a race car....or dune buggy, however you want to classify it. Be interesting to see when Can Am comes out with their Sport model. I hope they can limit the amount of electronic restriction, that and the 4x4 system were the things that turned the tide for me. I like the versatility of the Commander format coming from a Rhino.

| I was just messing with you a little bit. I like the Commander and was dead set on getting one until I was handed the keys to an XP. I loved the handling, suspension and the power and that pushed me over the top of my negative bias on Polaris. I still don't like the lack of utility, but everything is a trade off. I like your under bed storage but it didn't look like is completely dry. BTW, I just ordered a few of these today for my RZR (one day deal) ...big roll top dry bag with back pack straps for $20.: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/barnburners/?utm_source=EOBB&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Main&utm_campaign=EOBB12_product&cm_lm=honeycuttmatt@mindspring.com&codes-processed=true I need my fair share of dry storage due the lack of it on the RZR. The rack I added over the bed does help though. Figure I can always throw one of these bags on the passenger floor board if riding by myseld. One thing I did notice on your creek crossing is that it didn't look like your front end was engaging until you hit the hole/rock/obstacle. I know that is kind of how the VL 4x4 works but I didn't realize until later you had the QE. I think the last pass you just hit it harder and let momentum carry you over and then the VL kicked in. Just something to know how to tackle an obstacle next time I guess. How well does that back screen work? Does it keep the vortex from sucking air/dust back in pretty well? I've got a buddy about to buy a commander. - CommAndrew wrote:

That's true but he should have known that when he bought it....it's a Popo after all. That's why I bought 5 years of warranty.
Course seems I saw every Popo go through a creek crossing without batting an eye and a 3WD Commander take 5 takes to get through.....I'm just saying. I got high centered. Don't blame the commander on my driver error. It make of through. Eventually.

I agree, I was just playing around a little. There are certainly going to be times I'm going to miss having a real bed.....not to mention a hitch for hitch hauler (great way to drag a deer out of the woods without having to lift it too high). I'm just banking on using the tried and true Honda Foreman for hunting and utility.

Yes you do, and did!!!
Thanks for doing some research for me. I bought a 2012 Limited and am absolutely in love! I've got about 100 miles on this thing and will be taking it for the first service in the morning.
I'm looking forward to riding WV with you and your group.
