| That pic helps a lot, did the gauge come with the adapters to hook it up there in that sport, what was in that spot to start with? Some sort of plug? I like that set up!!!!! - Firepup wrote:

How did you wire up your oil pressure gauge? It’s a mechanical gauge that hooks in just behind the oil filter. Hope the pic helps. Took it with my phone so it’s not the best.

| Yea, all the fittings came with the gauge and yes there was a plug there. I ran the oil line inside a plastic 3/8 water line to help protect it. | |

| I like firepup's setup, but I've seen an awful lot of rocks, limbs, and other junk crammed up in there where the oil pressure line hooks up. I'm just paranoid enough as it is without thinking about that line while I ride. | |

| Hump they are autometer 'phantom' gauges. I know what you mean about the oil pressure and thats why I don't have mine on there right now. I did use a piece of heater hose as a conduit from the battery to the firewall then back inside the cab for my wiring. | |

| i bought mine thru Summit Racing.
Auto Meter:
volts : 5791 (electric)
oil : 5727 (electric)
water: 5831 (mechanical)
dash mount pod : 48010
best i can tell is those are Auto Meters part numbers and Summit Racing just adds "ATM" in front of the Auto Meter part number for the Summit Racing part number.
They do sell colored caps to change the back lighting color for the gauges. i do believe i saw orange as one of the choices. | |

| My last trip out, I put the emptys in the bed in the back, and they floated out of there also! Guess I'll have to fasten my net frog bag on there some where. | |
