That pic helps a lot, did the gauge come with the adapters to hook it up there in that sport, what was in that spot to start with? Some sort of plug?

Yea, all the fittings came with the gauge and yes there was a plug there. I ran the oil line inside a plastic 3/8 water line to help protect it.

I haven't gotten the oil pressure gauge yet but I went ahead and put in the water temp and the voltage guages. I will get the oil pressure one soon!

What guages are those? I like how they match the factory guage with the white face and black bezel. Looks like factory.

Those are the only two I plan to add. The oil pressure is not for me. If you lose oil pressure, your engine already has some major problems. The big thing is that oil pressure line running from the engine all the way to the guage could get ripped in half, burned, or worn, and then all your oil will get pumped out on the ground as you ride. Not worth the risk to me.

I like firepup's setup, but I've seen an awful lot of rocks, limbs, and other junk crammed up in there where the oil pressure line hooks up. I'm just paranoid enough as it is without thinking about that line while I ride.

Hump they are autometer 'phantom' gauges. I know what you mean about the oil pressure and thats why I don't have mine on there right now. I did use a piece of heater hose as a conduit from the battery to the firewall then back inside the cab for my wiring.

What are the part numbers for the electric and mech. gauges???? That would be some good info! DO they make these gauges with a orange back light??

And how does this brand of gauges hold up to being under water?? I might should get my self some marine type gauges!! As I have been known to drop off into some awful deep water!!

better mount yours in those guage pods to the cage right up front under the roof.

Marine gauges are the way to go. My volt meter is a marine gauge. No issues.

Don't laugh bubba, I was being serious. We've all seen the miller lite cans floating down the river before.

My last trip out, I put the emptys in the bed in the back, and they floated out of there also! Guess I'll have to fasten my net frog bag on there some where.

And I have found some marine gauges that have the orange back light for $60 a piece. they evan have the 270 degree sweep face.
