| Looking for a 4 seater? Here is what 2 piece frame will get you. Found on the rzrforum. The guy said he dropped into a 6 ft hole going 15mph. That's gonna hurt no matter what you're in. Makes me want to run out and buy some harnesses ASAP. Been wanting them anyway. | |

| Looking at those tires & the environment of the picture, it looks like he was riding dunes somewhere.
That being said I find it hard to believe that he did not become airborne coming over the top of a dune and wasn't airborne until he hit the bottom of the hole 6' down. Landing on the front tires when he hit, which buckled the machine when it absorbed the impact....
If that's the case, what vehicle would hold up to that impact and not transfer that energy to the occupants? | |

| Insurance for sure!! He says he was driving along and drove into a "witches eye" aka: hole and yes it was out west. He took the steering wheel to the chest and it broke the steering wheel and the passenger broke his knee on the grab bar with the bone exposed. But I guess they were able to limp it back to the truck. So the drive trane stayed in tact. It was dark so he didn't see it, but in the front view of the machine he has a light bar clear across the front of the roof, so not sure how he didn't see it at 15mph with that thing lit up. Guess you had to be there. And for a machine that was built for that kind of speed, I would think it would survive a 15mph crash a little better than that. | |
