Need a guide for that too. LOL They have camping sites at the Elk Springs Lodge. I would give them a call and see what they got. They were pretty good to talk to. That way you would be right there where we are gonna launch from. I think you guys were wanting to fish some also. The Elk is very good fishing. Lots of trout left in there, even in July. And there are some big ones in there too. | |

| If you are staying at the resort, the manager told me he has plenty of parking for trailers no matter now big, and if he runs out of parking lot, he will put us in the grass if need be. So, if you get a camping site, or cabin with a small parking area, you can unload and leave your trailer up by the lodge in one of the big parking lots.
If you are driving up in the morning for a 1 day ride, please post up, send me a pm, or call me at 540-271-1587. I will give you directions on where you can meet me at said time, and park for the day without having to pay or anything.
We will ride at 10 am both days. I plan to do 70+ miles on Saturday. To make this happen on these trails, you must be capable of riding more than 2 miles without stopping, and you have to keep up with the guy in front of you. I slow down in the rocky rough stuff, and the really dusty areas, but I let it eat where possible, sometimes running 35-40 for a short distance. There are lots of trails cutting off everywhere, so you have to keep up.
Please show up with your sxs full of gas, and have a gas can with you. There is one gas station in Bergoo, and I don't want them running out of gas to ruin our day. If that happens, it's like 7-10miles to Webster Springs for fuel. | |

| Just a heads up....I heard that the game warden was writing tickets Memorial day weekend on the main road for kids with no helmets. So if you bring any little ones with you, you may want to make sure they have a helmet and a seatbelt on down going down the pavement. Other than that, you have nothing to worry about. I'm ready to ride!  | |

| The wife will be with me and people mistake her as my daughter all the time. I don't know if thats a good thing or not???  And after she has had a few she acts like a little one. Maybe I better get her a booster seat and a helmet to wear.  They have been after people at 5 Points a bit also. Mostly for alcohol though. Do you know if they have fire pits to cook on at the lodge? | |

| Bergoo is generally not real dusty. Lots of rocks and wooded trails. The roads will be the worst. | |

| I'm going over before the ride to do some exploring up near the resort. I hope to find enough trails in that area to ride all day on Sunday so we don't have to ride much of the same stuff on the second day. I've only rode that far up the river one time, so I don't know what is up there. It's hard to beat the trails I normally ride over there. Good mix of all kinds of terrain and scenery. I can't wait.  | |
