| Ok so last time down we tried to check out the View...... Took the creek trails to Tiny's, crossed the little bridge and took an immediate right and followed that wide open trail/gravel road, it turned into a nice tight trail and we got to a little burm went up and over and it now it's like a wide open field. From here we totally lost the trail using the gps, kept going off track...... SO we bailed. We thought about trying the Alternate View trail but we decided to press onto Welch.
What the hay did we do wrong????@@@??

| I know it, I was pissed. Went over that mound and lost the trail..... Saw an old shed and some type of haul road across the field.... | |

| I'm pretty sure I know the berm you crossed. Pretty tall coming out of the woods. You then were in the field to the left of the view (if on top and look down at haul road with the trails to right and left). All you had to do was follow the trails after the berm and you would run into the view. I think you can see it from there.
I would guess you were less than .4 mi from the view.

| Randy, that's the berm was at the edge of the wood line and dumped you out into a huge open area. GPS kept showing I needed to go left but there were no apparent signs of trails.......... Oh well I'll try again next time down I figure. | |
