The View

We went to the View this weekend and there was a security guard there. He called other guards and they tried their best to get us off of the view. They had put up a wall so nobody could go up the big hill that Bush went up in reverse. We just took off and dodged the security guards. The rumors back at pinnacle creek said that they are going to strip mine it. They are going to get to be like the railroad....250 dollar fine and they take your ride. Some guy told me that yesterday.

I always loved going to the view but I guess we cannot go there anymore.

Last fall the guard told me we could not go up the side facing the blue shop but we could go up the backside facing north I guess.
Two weeks ago, the guard was stopping people going up the blue shop side.
We went up the north side and they did not say anything.
I think you are right. They are going to close it down for resource extraction.
They are also working across the haul road around what I call the View2.
We went up there, and from the top you could see they are working around it.
Will not be long before it's closed I'm sure, both sides.

We got ran off this weekend too.

we went 3 times and no one said anything to us, once was even at night.

That sucks. I loved riding to the view also. Seems that the outlaw trails are coming fewer and far between.

The guard stopped us sat and told us we could go up the back side just not the side there working on

We were up top making some phone calls. A black chevy pickup drove it and started flashing his lights. I acted like I didn't see him and continued with my phone call. So when we went down I drove towards the truck. I just wanting to here what he had to say. He said ya'll know you are trespassing right and that we were private property. I said no. I told him there was no signs stating that we trespassing from the direction we came. He said that was his employers fault but for us not to come back. So we went on our merry way.

I also got busted on the HFM system with no helmet and beer in my cooler lol... Got off with a warning because I had my helmet in my storage box and that I told them to test me or do whatever because I had had nothing to drink yet. The Rangers were pretty cool. First time I have seen a Ranger in all of my years of riding. They were in Camo Teryx.

No one said anything to us but there was a Ford Ranger pickup that looked like it was trying to get to us Sunday.

Strip job close to Burke Mtn..

Burke Mountain? Is this the strip job up above the wagon wheel? My cousin and I rode up there Saturday. There was a black SUV with a strobe light that went by but he didn't stop or anything. The road sign did say no ATVs... but we just crossed the road and went over to some reclaim area with a bunch of hill climbs and stuff. Didn't ride the road on around to the top becuase of sign and security presence.

yea that same black truck was the one after us. I hate we cannot go back there. I liked that place!

We were back at the view today and the truck was setting by the trailer. We came in from the south and turned up the side near the trailer and went to the top. The guy didn't come out of the trailer until we were getting ready to leave. We were pointed north and I guess he thought we were headed down toward they were working. Once we turned back south he went back inside. From there we went on to the Sterling Diner.

yeah...I'm gonna miss the view.....
