| I was thinking about adding a radio to my RZR. Well actually I am def going to add it.
My question is........does everyone listen to regular radio in West Virginia?? Does that work out there? I know some people have an ipods. Does anyone have an XM setup?
Does anyone have any suggestions for a setup as far as radio goes? What all should you buy to make an awesome system that can withstand the elements. |

| I have had this kit http://www.boatersworld.com/product/MP63517051.htm in my RZR for over 2 years now and no problems I mounted my speakers in the console below the cup holder and they have been under water hundreds of times and I mounted the amp behind the console.Use a I pod and you have a good water proof system that's cheap. You can buy a cheap plastic tool box and use the lid and mount everything in it above your hear which some have done. | |

You have a plug in for the cord and a master volume control and you should buy a on/off switch at Wal Mart or Auto parts store for less than $3.00

| I just got my radio installed today and it sounds great. I used a sheet of diamond plate for the speakers and mounted the amp in between the seats ( Hope its waterproof like it said....LOL). then mounted all the controls by the shifter. | |

| For the people that have their speakers near the floorboards, do they fill up with mud and water? Or are they high enough no to get wet during creek crossings? | |

| Well I like bobbys idea of the consol near the floor. When I cross a river, I want to hear Alan Jackson sing "Chatahoochie" under water like he is gargling water! See if that system is as waterproof as they say! |

Mike my speakers have been in my console for over 2 years and like I said they have been under water over 100 times and still work just as good now as the day I installed them.Just look at how deep the creeks were in my last videos and they were playing when I went through that deep water and still playing at the end of the day.The amp & speakers are marine grade so they are made to get wet.

| Oh I am ordering those speakers Bobby! Right now I am trying to decide if I want them under the cup holders like yours or like Bush's in the top. I may do his idea.
Bush.......can you post some pics of your setup? |
