we normally sell the S&W base for 689. the loaded one for 789. BUT!!! we dont have any S&W's in stock.
we do have a couple bushmasters in in the mid 800's. we have a wall full of acc for all AR platforms.
its truly sad. our goverment is retarded.
laws dont mean anything to criminals. so if they take away our right to bare arms, the criminals will still have guns.
buy all that you can. fire arms and ammo. not only do you need to protect your self and family from the goverment, you also have december comming up and all the idiots that think the world is gona end. What is your price on a Colt 6290 and do you have them in stock? no colts at all. havent seen a colt in stock in along time.

you have to buy hand guns in your own state, unless you have them shipped dealer to dealer.

we charge 55 bucks to recive one that cover all our paper work plus your paper work. we very rarley ship any out, but when we do its normally just the cost of the actuall shipping. then you would be responsible for any fee's the reciving dealer has. normally its 35-55 bucks for most dealers.

| So, one would need to see more than $100 savings to buy one online or out of state to make it worthwhile. | |

Yeah, I agree. I have seen some smokin deals in VA in the town I work. Could have saved $100 on several handguns. I figured by the time you pay this guy, that guy, paperwork, more paperwork, waiting, etc, I wasn't worth the hassle. It's good to spend your money local anyway.

| I'm just learning also..(have had my rifle just under a year and about 1000-1500 rds through it)....most of them will work fine for what we would use them for.....the only thing i would stay away from is the carbon versions......my buddy has the bushmaster Carbon 15, he has sent it back two or there times for repair.....the Colt is the top of the line for the most part, there are some higher end brands out there, made by smaller companies.....its all about how much $$$$ you want to spend............for a budget rifle, that shoots well, never had a FTF or a FTE with my rifle....I would recommend it to anyone....it has a lifetime warranty.. a Bushmaster patrolman is just over 800, (I have a another buddy who has one of those also and he loves it, got it at wally world, also has lifetime warranty).....you can build a spikes tactical or a palmetto st armory kit with the chrome lined barrel and forward assist and ejection port cover for under or around 900$, rock river makes a nice rifle also..... but if you buy just a kit and have problems its on you to fix it or have it fixed......that said they are not that hard to work on......I know there are some guys on here with way more knowledge than i have | |

dont fall for the name brand hype. any AR15 is as good as the next. as long as its a mil=spec rated gun. they are all the same. a 600 dollar S&W or DPMS or olympic or up through the 1000+dollar colts and stuff, will all interchange. one part is not better than the other. the only real diffrence is the name stamped or engraved on it. there are only 2 main barrel manufactures for AR15's the cheapest priced guns share the same barrle as the bushmasters, rock river's, DPMS, etc etc. like already stated, your price range depends on what you buy. and right now, your purchase is gona depend on what us dealers can find to get in stock. the S&W sports, that dont have a dust cover or forward assist are 100% fine for us normal civilians. if you plan on being in full combat situations then you need them. lol. we have a couple bushmaster instock right now as well as a ton of tactical acc. everyone is welcome to come by and check it all out. st. albans gun and archery 450 walnut st. st. albans wv 25177 mon-fri 10-6 sat 9-4 304 727 6017

What about the AK-47?? Terry, the AK vs AR debate can get really heated. Alot of people hate the AK because it is the "ultimate bad guy gun". The basics are this. AR-15 has better looks, more accuracy, and is an american icon. This would be your pick for a longer shot, and less recoil to stay on target so you can send more rounds to your target. The AR is basically the civilian verson of the Colt rifle our troops carry. Bad things about it is a .223 is a small round, and doesn't do a whole lot of damage. Also, it turns me off a little to think of having a gun that can overheat and gum up to the point of needing forward assist in order to feed another round into the chamber. You can get the AR in .308, that would be awsome, but ammo is a little higher, and heavier if you had to carry alot of it. AK-47. The good...7.62x39mm has good power and does some decent damage. "one shot one kill." Very simple to use. Will run all day long, even after the forearm catches fire. It is a sloppy built gun, some think that's bad, but that's what makes it what it is. So quick and easy to slam another magazine in because it fits loose. It will fire even when it is very dirty/muddy because everything about it is a little loose. Runs great even when you don't clean it like you should. Price is cheaper than the AR. Very quick and easy to field strip, clean, and reassemble. The bad..not as accurate as the AR. The finish is poor and it looks cheap. That's how they are, they were mass produced for war, not beauty contest. Recoil isn't bad, but enough to make it a little hard to stay on target if you are spraying something down. You can by lots of accessories for both. I would say go ahead and buy both. But, the way things are looking, pick one and get all the ammo you can afford for it. No matter what you like, either one is better than none.

| AK's are fun too. like hump said it will fire in mud lol.
but for civilian use, you will never have a issue out of a AR15. ive been shooting for years and never had one fail that was the guns fault. never ever used a forward assist for any reason. as long as you dont shoot the laquer coated ammo, your AR15 wont gum up and stop feeding.
had plenty of second line ammo like you buy from walmart fail, but not the guns fault.

That's not true in all states. Some states (this example applies to Alabama) have their own laws that limit long gun purchases to buyers from bordering states, unless you have it transferred. I'm sure there are some other states that have similar laws, ultimately it is up to each state, county, city, town, etc.
