Radios (2 way not music)

I know what you mean but I haven't seen it if its out there. That doesn't mean that its not so keep looking!

Guys I know Kenwood makes a waterporoof version that they make for the military. I can't remember the model number but will look it up for you and post it up as soon as I find it.

hey guys i have some friends that want a few of these radios, but dick wont return their calls, who else is a reliable source for these units?

Dick has been out of town. Tell me what they want and I will see what I can do.

I was looking around myself for my 09 RZR...and then found this thread :) I'm looking for a turnkey solution for the RZR as I don't have access to fabrication tools, parts, pieces, etc. Is there a "package" deal that includes the radio, pre-programmed to use the channels on the rides, mounting brackets, antennae, cables, connectors, etc? I'm tired of the handheld units and with my flip up helmet now, I can't install the helmet based motocomm. Last trip I tried to keep the handheld in the overhead bag pointing down at us on full volume, but couldn't hear anything...and couldn't respond without taking it out of the bag if I did hear something when we were stopped. I am a radio idiot and would like a kit :)

The kit Drew got from Rhinoriders friend Dick was a turn key. Everything included for $150. You just have to mount it.

Jeff, I've got to say these things really do a good job too. Me and Daryl were sitting in the parking lot at the Ashland Resort and Drew rode all the way down to the Ashland Country store and we could still here him.

I'm thinking about getting one of these.

Does anyone have a mounting kit :) I have no clue how or where to mount it... Not real handy with fabricating brackets and such...

Jeff, you will have to make something or get someone to help you out. When you find them call me lol...

So how can I get 2 of these kits? Travis (NCPowersports) wants one and will see if he can get some mounts made up for the RZR's and the Rangers if people want them.

your c b mounts are the best to start with that way you can unscrew the mount ears and carry inside when clean up times come

Good call on that, plus I'd like to remove it when I have it stored between rides.

if you check around some are adjustable that way if you got wide or narrow they work

On this one it should not be a big deal. Cut the end and wire in with a fuse or get a Kenwood wire.......
